I was walking through the hills surrounding St Fillians one crisp autumn day when the magic happened. The weather was typical, a mix of clouds, but suddenly, the sun decided to break through. It was a brief, powerful moment, creating a dramatic spotlight effect on the woodlands nestled between the mountains.

The sight was incredible in person, even more so because I knew it wouldn't last. I had to hurry, quickly composing the shot to capture that illuminated section of the forest. The autumn colours, all those vibrant oranges and browns mixed with the deep greens, were absolutely glowing under that perfect beam of light, while the mountain above and below remained in shadow.
